Hundreds of women marched in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, on Sept. 26, 2020, protesting against police violence and presidential election results.

Self-proclaimed Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko held his presidential inauguration in secret on Sept. 23, 2020, after claiming victory in the Aug. 9 presidential election that his opposition rivals have described as massively rigged.
