The Christmas charity Bazaar has become both a good tradition in Ukraine and a perfect place for shopping to get into the right festive spirit. The exhibition hall of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce was transformed into a lively international marketplace on Dec.4.For the 18th time, some 40 embassies made one of the most colorful Christmas charity events in Kyiv come true. Local organizations and representatives of foreignembassies set up stalls, brought delicious food from their home countries, presented national handicraft, sweets, small Christmas gifts. The event raises some $100,000 each year for numerous charities, such as food banks and medical services. More than 6,000 people visited the bazaar this time to try some great cuisine and get authentic, hard-to-find items from each nation.(Photo: Roman Grytsenko)
