About 180 participants of cosplay shows and some 12 000 visitors took part in Kyiv Comic Con in the Ukrainian House on May 19-20.
Visitors attended lectures, masterclasses, workshops and, of course, a grand costume event at the two-day festival, of games, comics and popular culture.
Kyiv Comic Con was started in 2015 by a group of friends who were fans of movies, books, videos and board games, and who wanted a platform where they could meet with people who shared their hobbies.
The founding friends were inspired by the original Comic Con festival, which has been held in San Diego, California since 1970, and now has analogues all over the world.
