Israeli singer Netta Barzilai scored a convincing victory at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest at the Altice Arena in Lisbon, on May 12, racking up 529 points from the jury and voting by the television audience.

Cypriot entry Eleni Foureira came second, with 436 points, and Austria’s Cesar Sampson third with 342.

Ukraine’s Melovin came 17th, with 130 points. The host nation, Portugal came last, with 39 points. Barzilai’s win means Israel will host next year’s contest.
