The restaurant chain Kozyrnaya Karta, with 90 restaurants in Ukraine, held its 11th annual celebration on Dec. 2. The “Unreal Reality” party was held in the International Expo Cnter on 15 Brovarsky Prospect. The party featured bubbles, a special light show and fog hovering over red carpet. Blue-skinned entertainers and charming hostesses in the extravagently decorated banquet hall greeted more than 1,000 diners with abundantly set tables. The spectacular stage show included Ukrainian pop stars Svetlana Loboda, Tina Karol and Alyosha, among others. Although Kozyrnaya Karta (Trump Card) is based in Kyiv, the company also includes five restaurants in New York and four in Miami, besides the 90 in Ukraine. The firm employs about 10,000 people. Corporate sponsors for the event included Nemiroff, the Ukrainian producer of alcoholic beverages, but others also hawked their products and services.(Photos by Anya Korbut)
