On May 15, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Europe — an annual holiday established in 2003 as a symbol of Ukraine’s euro-integration ambitions.
The Day of Europe is celebrated annually on the third Saturday of May.
In Kyiv, the celebration takes place on May 15-16 on Mykhailivska Square in the city center. The program features dance and music performances and exhibitions, including an installation by Ukrainian artist Andrii Yarmolenko.
The symphonic orchestra will play at the square on the evenings of May 15-16.
