The Kyiv-Mohyla Academy National University, one of Ukraine’s top educational institutions, held its annual Kyiv-Mohyla Charity Night on Oct. 22.

This year’s venue was the grand ballroom of Olimpiyskiy Stadium. The event was attended by Mohyla alumni, philanthropists, and charity activists. The program included speeches by World Academy of Art & Science CEO Garry Jacobs and poet Ivan Malkovych, who heads the “A-BA-BA-HA-LA-MA-HA” publishing house.

Ukrainian a cappella group Pikkardijska Tercia provided musical entertainment.

In between speeches and performances, guests also took part in a charity auction and bought artworks by Ukrainian artists.

In the end, the event raised more than Hr 4 million, or around $150,000.
