More than 250 people celebrated independent journalism in Ukraine at the Kyiv Post's 20th Anniversary Gala celebration in Kyiv Hilton Hotel on Sept.19.
Kyiv Post publisher Mohammad Zahoor and the Kyiv Post staff were joined by the newspaper’s top advertisers and donors to its affiliated non-profit Media Development Foundations.
Newsmakers also were present, including many members of parliament, three ministers — Oleksiy Pavlenko of agriculture, Aivaras Abromavicius of economy and Serhiy Kvit of education — and other representatives of government, business and nongovernmental organizations.
