Up to 200 guests packed a hall at the Intercontinental hotel in Kyiv on June 18 for the Kyiv Post’s “Bringing Peace to Syria & Ukraine” conference, a one-day international event that attracted big-name speakers from Ukraine, Syria, and other countries.
The conference, which included three expert panels moderated by Kyiv Post Editor in Chief Brian Bonner, examined Russia’s role in wars in both Ukraine and Syria, and ways to mitigate the malign influence of the Kremlin.
The three panels were: Russian Intervention, Averting Humanitarian Catastrophe, and Steps for Lasting Peace.
After the conference, panelists, Kyiv Post staff and special guests of the conference attended a post-conference party hosted by Kyiv Post publisher Adnan Kivan.
