A police officer puts up a barricade in a lane of a highway at the entrance to Kyiv on April 16, 2020. In a bid to prevent the spread of COVID-19 during the Easter holidays, the Kyiv City Council ordered that people entering the city in cars with more than two people have to have their temperature checked. The restriction also applies to motorists with a different registration other than Kyiv Oblast. The new rules will be in effect from April 16 until April 21.
