On March 17, all restaurants, night clubs, gyms, beauty salons and shopping malls have been shut down in Kyiv.

The decision further extends restrictions that Ukraine imposed earlier to prevent the novel coronavirus from spreading by shuttering all educational institutions and banning mass events until April 3.

The same measures have recently been established in other Ukrainian cities, including Zaporizhia, Lviv, Odesa and Ivano-Frankivsk.
