On June 27, nearly 50 activists from the National Corps protested against Ukrainian oligarch Viktor Medvedchuk at the presidential administration in Kyiv.
They opposed Medvedchuk, a close friend of Vladimir Putin, and argued against him representing Ukraine in any Ukrainian-Russian dialogue. They shouted slogans and threw eggs at portraits and effigies representing Medvedchuk.
The controversial oligarch, a party leader and candidate for parliament, has come under fire for visits to the Kremlin, showing support for Russia and for negotiating with Moscow and Russian-led militants without having any official authorization to do so.
