POPASNE, Ukraine -- While some fear a Russian spring offensive in the war and others pin their hopes on peace talks in France on March 3, it's clear that Russia's war against Ukraine is far from over.
The nation enters spring counting its losses — 2,600 soldiers killed and 9,000 wounded — while more than half of the Donbas population has fled to other parts of the country or abroad since the Russian war began in the spring of 2014.
