Right-wing nationalist groups took to the streets of Kyiv on Feb. 18, demanding that businesses and organizations controlled by the Russian government leave Ukraine. Activists attacked a branch of Sberbank, which is owned by the Russian government, in Kyiv’s city center.
A separate group demanded that Rossotrudnichestvo, the Russian government’s foreign cultural affairs office, leave Ukraine as well. Protestors broke windows and sprayed graffiti on the organization’s building, calling the group an “FSB office” and demanding that it leave Ukraine.
