People bring flowers to memorial for Ukrainian plane crash victims (PHOTOS)

A Boeing 737-800 passenger plane of Ukraine International Airlines crashed near the Tehran airport early on Jan. 8. All 176 people on board, including 9 crew members, were killed in the crash.

It remains unclear what caused the crash. The Ukrainian government has declined to comment on the reason for the crash until the catastrophe is fully investigated.

In the wake of the catastrophe, people brought flowers to a memorial for the nine Ukrainian crew members killed in the crash at the Boryspil International Airport outside Kyiv. Besides the crew, there were also two other Ukrainians on the flight.
