Since mid-July when the Ukrainian army took Pisky in Donetsk Oblast, this village of some 500 houses, has become a crucial Ukrainian stronghold for supply and reinforcement of Donetsk airport, which is located just in about one kilometer from there. And for that period there wasn’t any day without shelling of it by Russian-backed rebels and Russian forces.
