More than 800 activists took part in an animal rights rally in Kyiv on September 15.
They demanded the outlawing of animals being used in circuses and the exploitation of animals used in business. They also called for the outlawing of animals being used in cosmetics testing and opposed dog-hunting and fur farms.
The rally was held simultaneously in 24 Ukrainian cities, and also in the Ukrainian polar station in the Antarctic, Akademik Vernadskiy.
