Ukraine’s team has returned to Ukraine on Oct. 2 after a successful campaign at the Invictus Games in Canada, winning a total of 14 medals, including eight gold, three silver, and three bronze ones.
The games featured injured military veterans from 17 countries around the world competing in different sports, such as sitting volleyball, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis, cycling, and powerlifting.
People were waiting for the team in Boryspil National Airport. They sang songs, brought flowers and presents. The military orchestra performed the national anthem for the winners.
