The Voice, a liberal party led by a popular singer Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, celebrated the June 28 Constitution Day with a flash mob in the center of Kyiv.

The party members and supporters formed a symbolic human chain around the building of the Ukrainian parliament. Holding hands, they tried to show that the people of Ukraine need to take the parliament, and the power, in their hands.

This way, they referenced the Constitution of Ukraine, which says that “The source of power in Ukraine are people.” Vakarchuk said it was his favorite line in the Constitution.

The Voice runs for parliament in the July 21 snap election. It currently has from 6 to 8 percent of support, according to pollsters.
