Russia is offering relief to Europe’s gas crisis by exporting record volumes of fuel to Europe. And while not explicitly mentioning the dormant Nord Stream 2 pipeline project, President Vladimir Putin noted that a current gas transportation routes through Ukraine was more expensive and polluting.
