Fablab is part of a worldwide network of laboratories that are engaged in rapidly counteracting COVID-19. Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, the lab has been printing protective shields for medical professionals using 3D printers. It is the only laboratory in Ukraine that prints protective gear in large quantities. The team employs 7 people and produces roughly 5,000 safety shields per day. The laboratory also has plans to manufacture supplies for lung ventilators.
