Russia’s attack on Ukrainian boats near the Kerch Strait and imprisonment of 24 Ukrainian sailors are stark reminder sof Moscow’s ongoing war against Ukraine. Michael Carpenter, senior director at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement, joined the Kyiv Post to discuss Ukrainian national security and countering Russian military aggression. Carpenter was the keynote speaker at the newspaper’s 7th annual Tiger Conference on Dec. 11 in the InterContinental Kyiv hotel, followed by an evening awards ceremony honoring top 30 Ukrainians under the age of 30.
