Protecting icons of Ukrainian Modernism

Over the past three decades, Ukrainian modernist architecture has been under attack. Icons of the architectural style have been abandoned, dismantled or remodeled beyond recognition. With the help of activist groups, the Ukrainian government now provides protection to some of these architectural masterpieces.
