UA.TV: Ternopil vyshyvanka for political prisoner Balukh

Craftswomen from the Ukrainian city of Ternopil have made an embroidered shirt for political prisoner Volodymyr Balukh. Russian law enforcers detained him in 2016, accused of storing ammunition, and later – of attacking the head of the detention facility where he was held. A de-facto Russian court in occupied Crimea sentenced Balukh to almost 5 years in prison. His lawyers believe that he is persecuted for his pro-Ukrainian position.
