The historic region, located between the middle course of the river Dnister and the main Carpathian ridge, in the valleys of the upper courses of Prut and Siret. Right here, once a year, you can observe the striking celebration of Malanka in the village of Krasnoilsk, as well as try to cross the Dnister by ferry. The main building of the Chernivtsi University, the majestic Khotyn Fortress on the Dnister, and the example of a real Sich in Chervona Dibrova became the symbols of the tourist attraction of this region.
