Ukrainian band tops Shazam charts (VIDEO)

The song “Plakala” (Cried) by Ukrainian pop band Kazka has made it into the Shazam Top 10 world chart. Kazka formed in March 2017. They are vocalist Oleksandra Zarytska, guitarist Nikita Budash and trumpet player Dmitry Mazuryak. Band producer Yury Nikitin wrote on his Instagram account that this is the first time in Ukrainian music history that a Ukrainian band got so high in the charts. Aside from the Shazam world chart, the song also made it into the Top 10 Shazam songs in Ukraine, Bulgaria, Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan, and Russia. The video for the song topped 10 million views on YouTube in less than 3 weeks.
