You're reading: Kyiv’s Boryspil airport boosts net profit 45% in nine months of 2011

The state-run Boryspil International Airport, Ukraine's biggest airport, posted a net profit of Hr 450.425 million in the first nine months of 2011, which was 45.2% more than in the same period last year, according to a company report.

Its net income in the period rose by 20.8%, to Hr 1.602 billion. Its net profit in the third quarter was up by 45.2% year-on-year, to Hr 217.506 million, while its net income in the period rose by 22.6%, to Hr 422.627 million.

Boryspil airport occupies a site of about 1,000 hectares. It has two runways: one 4,000 meters long and 60 meters wide, and another 3,500 meters long and 63 meters wide. The airport has four passenger terminals and a mail and cargo complex.
