The Kostiantyn Olshansky, a large landing ship of the Ukrainian Navy, has finished taking on board those who wanted to be evacuated from Libya and now expects an order to put to sea.

The Ukrainian Defense Ministry told Interfax-Ukraine that 193 people were on board the ship, among them 85 Ukrainians and 108 citizens of 14 foreign countries.

It is currently unknown when the Kostiantyn Olshansky will leave Tripoli, but it has already been decided that it will head for Malta to disembark some evacuees from foreign countries.

The voyage to Malta will take about 20 hours.

Ukrainian Navy Commander, Admiral Viktor Maksymov said on March 22, while seeing off the Kostiantyn Olshansky from Sevastopol, that the ship was capable of carrying 500-600 people.
