Berkut riot police officers on Monday removed all of the tents put up by supporters of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko on Khreschatyk Street opposite Kyiv's Pechersky District Court.

An Interfax-Ukraine reporter said that only one campaign tent remained.

Berkut riot police officers also forced some of the protesters into prison vans.

Law enforcement officers have currently cordoned off the area where the tents were put up in order to prevent them being erected again.

The tents had flags with the inscription "the Orange Revolution Committee."

The situation is currently calm.
