Part of a street in Kyiv where former Ukrainian prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko's current place of detention stands will be closed to traffic until Nov. 29, the city traffic police authority said.

The authority said the reason for the partial closure of Dehtiarivska Street was its planned resurfacing.

Supporters of Tymoshenko plan to gather outside her Lukyanivka detention center on Sunday to mark her birthday.
