Last night, Sep. 3, a huge fire broke out in a restaurant complex situated in Kharkiv’s Kyivskyi Districts as Russian troops struck the city with missiles.
The relevant statement was made by the Main Department of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service in Kharkiv Region on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Last night another missile attack was launched on civil infrastructure in Kharkiv. One of enemy missiles hit a restaurant complex situated in Kyivskyi District,” the report states.
All the buildings of the restaurant complex were made of wood. Thus, immediately after the explosion, a fire broke out, spreading across its entire area practically. Two main buildings and a summer pavilion with a total area of 2,200 square meters were on fire.
Eight fire tankers, one rescue fire truck and about 50 staff members of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service were involved in firefighting operations.
