In a phone conversation, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed support for the Ukrainian national football team before the match with Sweden in the 1/8 finals of Euro 2020.
“I had a pleasant conversation, I called the guys from our national team to say that we believe in them and cheer for them. I congratulated Andriy Piatov on his birthday. Our players are well motivated and capable of surprising. Today, some 40 million Ukrainians will be on the football pitch with them,” Zelensky said on the Telegram channel.
As reported, on June 29, London will host the 1/8 finals of Euro 2020 England-Germany, and Glasgow will host Sweden-Ukraine.
