A group of top former PrivatBank managers say they plan to found a startup to develop online banking systems for other Ukrainian and foreign banks.
After developing the most modern online banking system in Ukraine – Privat24 – the former PrivatBank tech managers have now announced the launch of an IT company called Fintech Band.
“I hope we will please everybody with cool features in different Ukrainian banks,” the former IT director at PrivatBank, Dmytro Dubilet, wrote on his Facebook page. “Banker colleagues: we’ll soon come knocking.”
Former First Deputy Chairman of the Board of PrivatBank Oleg Gorokhovsky and the former head of the bank’s payments business, Mikhail Rogalskiy, are to co-found the startup. The team plans to develop transaction and customer relationship management (CRM) systems, internet banking, etc.
“We know how to create a neat retail bank, and are ready to share this knowledge,” Dubilet wrote.
The company’s website is at the registration stage.
Ukraine’s Finance Ministry replaced the top management of PrivatBank, including Gorokhovsky, Dubilet and Rogalskiy, after the bank was nationalized in December 2016.
