You're reading: Google to teach Ukrainian teachers to conduct lessons remotely

The Ministry of Education of Ukraine and Google will teach school teachers for free how to conduct distance lessons.

The Ministry of Education and Science, together with Google office in Ukraine, will conduct a training course “Effective Google for Education solutions for cloud interaction” for school teachers, which will last from Nov. 12 to  Nov. 22, the press service of the Ministry of Education reports.

“Providing our teachers with opportunities to master distance learning skills using modern digital tools is one of our key priorities today. And we are very grateful to the representatives of the IT community for active cooperation in this direction,” said Deputy Minister Artur Seletsky.

According to the press service, the course will include the following practical areas: capabilities of Google Workspace (G Suite) applications when working with the web interface of personal computers, using Google Workspace (G Suite) applications on mobile devices and working out basic settings for safe online experience.

Teachers will be provided with the necessary methodological support and advice. After studying, according to the ministry, all participants will receive a certificate of the course completion, which will be counted as an advanced training course.
