A bill has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada that will open European markets for Ukraine’s creative IT industry, incumbent President and presidential candidate Petro Poroshenko has said.

“Ukraine should proceed to the creative development of the Internet. We have all the conditions for this: the school, the talented specialists of the IT sector, and the market. We must harmonize legislation today, we must ensure the protection of information today. And we are doing everything today—a [respective] bill is already in the Verkhovna Rada. It was prepared by my team in order to open the European markets for the creative industry of Ukraine,” Poroshenko said at the Open Dialogue public forum in Kyiv on Feb. 10.
