As a result of shelling attacks by Russia-led forces in Donbas, a Ukrainian soldier has been killed and another three have been injured, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters reported.
“Today, on July 5, the armed formations of the Russian Federation once again violated the ceasefire and fired at the positions of the Ukrainian defenders in the zone of responsibility of the Skhid (East) operational-tactical group. As a result of the shelling attack, one serviceman was killed and another three were wounded,” it said on Facebook.
The Ukrainian military was urgently evacuated and taken to a hospital.
Representatives of the military unit and the working group of the Military Law Enforcement Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are working at the scene.
The actions of the armed formations of the Russian Federation were reported to the OSCE representatives through the Ukrainian side of the JCCC.
