In Donbas, Russia-occupation forces have violated the ceasefire regime 17 times since the beginning of the day, one Ukrainian soldier was wounded, and he is in an average state of severity, the press center of the Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters said.

“Since the beginning of the day, 17 ceasefire violations by Russia-occupation forces have been recorded. In the direction of Avdiyivka, the invaders fired eight attacks from artillery of 122 mm caliber, mortars of 120 and 82 calibers, grenade launchers of various systems and large-caliber machine guns,” according to the report on Facebook.

Also, near Pavlopil, the Russia-backed separatists fired from heavy anti-tank, automatic heavy grenade launchers and heavy machine guns, and near Zaitseve – from heavy machine guns.

In the area of Opytne, the Russia-controlled forces opened fire from grenade launchers and small arms, and at Talakivka, they used 120 caliber mortars. In addition, at Shyrokyne, positions of the Joint Forces were fired twice from mortars of 120 and 82 calibers.

“As a result of the shelling, one soldier received penetrating shrapnel wounds. After providing the first aid, the soldier was transported to a hospital. The condition of the wounded is moderate,” the report said.

Among other things, Russian mercenaries fired at civilian infrastructure and the private sector of Avdiyivka with 122 mm artillery, 120 and 82 caliber mortars.

In Luhansk region, an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Orlan-10 type was also recorded.

Ukrainian defenders opened fire in response to the shelling by Russia-occupation forces. The Ukrainian side of the JCCC, using the coordination mechanism, promptly responded to violations through the OSCE SMM.
