US actor and director John Malkovich states that Hollywood apparently does not know much about Ukraine and the ongoing armed conflict there. He said this in his interview with TSN, the Ukrainian TV channel.
“Over these years, Ukraine has been a blind spot, as if someone erased it from the map. There are Trump and the Russian conspiracy reigning in the minds of the Holywood society, but there’s no Ukraine there. No one wants to talk about it. I don’t even know how much of the Hollywood cares about what happened here in 2014 and what’s going on now,” Malkovich said.
