112.ua: Man seized post office in Kharkiv arrested for 2 months

Ukrainian policemen storm an office of the Ukrposhta postal service in northeastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv on Dec. 30, where a man with an explosive device took 11 people, including two children, hostage. All of the remaining hostages kept in a post office in Kharkiv have been released, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has posted on Facebook late on Dec. 30.

The court of Kharkiv arrested Volodymyr Bezukh, who seized the office of Ukrposhta and took 11 people hostage, for 60 days (until February 27) without the possibility of release on bail. This was reported by the judge during the hearing, which was broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.
