Over the four years of Crimea’s occupation, Russian law enforcers detained 456 Ukrainian citizens, including Crimean Tatars. Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry said that in a statement on Twitter.
‘During the mentioned period, the overall human rights situation in Crimea has badly deteriorated. Detentions of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars became a common practice. Russia continues to live in its imperial past, going back to the USSR. We’re not going to play along’, the Ministry stressed.
