The National Public Television and Radio Company of Ukraine (UA:PBC) as a member of European Broadcasting Union annually provides for Ukraine’s participation in Junior Eurovision Song Contest. However, this year due to underfunding of UA:PBC, Ukrainian representative cannot take part in the contest. This was reported by the company.
The participation in Junior Eurovision requires considerable expenditures of the TV company on elimination rounds, as well as on EBU subscription fee.
