You're reading: More than 200,000 people in Ukraine have combatant status

More than 207,000 Ukrainians have been granted the combatant status by now, spokesman for the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Dmytro Hutsuliak said.

Over 13,500 soldiers and employees of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been decorated with state awards since the beginning of the Donbas operation. The Defense Ministry’s decorations have been bestowed on 41,700 persons, Hutsuliak said at a press briefing in Kyiv on July 18.
