You're reading: Airport Lviv exceeds pre-crisis indicator of passenger traffic in July

International airport Lviv named after Danylo Halytsky in January-July increased passenger traffic by 71.7% compared to the same period in 2020, to 763,400 people (36% less compared to January-July 2019).

As noted in a report on the airport’s official Facebook page, over the first seven months of this year, the number of arrivals and departures from the airport amounted to 7,700, which is 59.6% more than a year earlier and 27.1% less than in the same period in 2019.

The most popular destinations in terms of passenger traffic were Antalya, Istanbul (SAW, IST), Warsaw, Kyiv (Boryspil International Airport), and Hurghada.

In July 2021, the passenger traffic of the Lviv airport amounted to 251,000 passengers, which is 261.3% more than in July 2020 and 3.1% more than in July 2019.

The number of flights in July was 2,144, which is 103.6% more than in July last year and 10.7% than in July 2019.
