You're reading: Armed forces to receive 130 Bogdan medical vehicles by late 2017

A total of 130 Bogdan medical vehicles will be bought by the end of 2017 for the needs of Ukrainian Armed Forces, Defense Ministry Spokesman Maksym Prauta has said.

“We have started supplying new Bogdan all-wheel drive medical vehicles to military units. This year over 130 vehicles will be bought as part of state defense procurement,” he said at a briefing in Kyiv on August 15.

Prauta also said that armored evacuation vehicles are supplied to military units after small armored tractor trucks and Saxon armored vehicles are re-equipped, as well as medical vehicles.

He said that now Ukrainian military soldiers in Donbas war zone have personal medicine kits and military units – medicines and property.

“With the aim of restoring psychological health of the Donbas war participants 17 psychological rehabilitation points have been deployed in the rear command posts of the brigades in Donbas area. About 4,000 defenders of Ukraine have undergone psychological rehabilitation,” he said.
