You're reading: Armed Forces report anti-record of 59 new COVID-19 cases per day

Over the past day, some 59 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus have been identified in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in total 545 people are now sick, the Medical Forces command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.

“In total during the pandemic, some 873 people recovered, six lethal cases. There are 896 people in isolation (including self-isolation). The number of servicemen whose isolation ends in the next three days is 153 people,” the medical workers said on the Facebook page.

Thus, out of 59 new cases of COVID-19, some 12 people are undergoing treatment in healthcare institutions: one serviceman is in the National Military Medical Clinical Center, three servicemen are in the Military Medical Clinical Historical Center of the Western Region, three servicemen are in the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Northern Region, one serviceman is in the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Southern Region, three servicemen are in Chernihiv Military Hospital and one serviceman is in Rivne Central City Hospital.

In addition, some 47 people are under the supervision of the medical service for treatment at home: 16 servicemen and three employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kyiv region, 11 servicemen and four employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Lviv region, three servicemen in Odesa region, three servicemen in Rivne region, four employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Ivano-Frankivsk region, two employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Zhytomyr region and one employee of the Armed Forces in Poltava region.

It is noted that the state of health of all patients is reassuring.
