Starting from July 1, Austria has resumed the entry into the country for Ukrainians for all travel purposes, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said.

“From today, Austria is open for Ukrainians. With full vaccination 14+ days before the trip, the entry is free,” Kuleba wrote on Twitter.

He added that detailed information is available on the website.

According to the information on the website of the Department of Consular Services, from July 1, the entry from Ukraine to Austria is possible for all travel purposes.

So, the entry without registration and quarantine is possible with a certificate of full vaccination against COVID-19 with one of the following vaccines, if the last vaccination was done more than 14 days before the entry and was carried out no more than 270 days ago.

Approved vaccines are Comirnaty (INN) by BioNtech/Pfizer; Vaxzevria COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca/Covishield by Serum Institute of India; COVID-19 Vaccine Janssen by Johnson&Johnson; mRNA-1273 COVID-19 Vaccine by Moderna; and Sinopharm/BIBP SARS-CoV-2 Vaccine (Vero Cell), Inactivated, Sinovac.

The entry with registration and quarantine is possible with confirmation of a negative test result for COVID-19 (PCR test for 72 hours or antigen test for 48 hours) and 10-day quarantine after the entry or with confirmation of recovery after COVID-19 (a certificate that the infection was overcome in the last 180 days, or a certificate of neutralizing antibodies not older than 90 days).

An online travel registration (Pre-Travel-Clearance – PTC, complete no later than 72 hours before the entry) is also required. The online travel registration form is available at oesterreich.gv.at as well as at https://entry.ptc.gv.at/.

After the entry, it is imperative to go to a 10-day quarantine, which can be terminated upon presentation of a negative test result, but not earlier than five days after the entry.

Adolescents between the ages of 12 and 18 traveling with vaccinated adults must conduct the test, but in this case they are not subject to quarantine.
