Russian citizens, excluding diplomats, will not be allowed to enter Russian diplomatic institutions in Ukraine to vote in the Russian presidential election on Sunday, March 18, Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said.

“The Ukrainian Interior Ministry has reported that on Sunday, March 18, the security regime at the Russian Federation’s diplomatic establishments in the territory of Ukraine, namely in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, and Lviv will not allow for Russian citizens’ access to these facilities in order to vote at the election. […] Only persons with a diplomatic status will be allowed to access these institutions. Other individuals and Russian citizens will not be permitted to enter diplomatic missions on that day,” Avakov said on his Facebook account on March 16.
