The State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has banned a citizen of the Republic of Belarus, co-founder of the Belarusian House in Ukraine Rodion Batulin from entering Ukraine, the SBU press service told Interfax-Ukraine.

“The ban was issued on July 23, 2021 on the basis of reasoned data that this person may pose a threat to the national security of Ukraine,” the SBU said.

At the same time, the service said that Batulin “is known for his radical views and provocative actions during protests in Ukraine.” “In the course of these actions, among other things, it was possible to prevent the radicals’ attempts to provoke violent clashes with law enforcement officers,” the SBU press service said.
