European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said Tuesday that the European Union will seek ways to boost the supply of gas to Ukraine and that it must remain a reliable transit country for gas. Speaking at a press conference in Kyiv following an EU-Ukraine summit where Kyiv pressed the bloc for more funding, von der Leyen also said that Slovakia is willing to step up and reverse the flow of an additional pipeline to Ukraine.
