Boryspil International Airport (Kyiv) in January-May reduced passenger traffic by 52.2% compared to the same period in 2019, to 2.471 million people.
According to the press service of the enterprise, on international flights, this indicator amounted to 2.282 million people during the reporting period (a decrease of 52% against the figure for January-May last year), in the domestic sector some 188,100 people (54.4% less).
The number of flights served by the airport amounted to 20,700 (49% less) for arrival/departure, in particular, 18,200 international flights (48.2% less) and 2,431 domestic flights (54% less).
In May 2020, passenger flow at Boryspil airport almost halved from May 2019 (by 97.9%) and amounted to 28,200 people. At the same time, on international flights this indicator amounted to 28,100 people (97.8% less), on domestic flights some 100 people (99.9% less).
The number of flights in May amounted to 1,089 (89% down), including 1,025 international (88.3% less), and 64 domestic flights (94.7% down).
